The Audient ID14 is a 2 in, 4 out USB Audio Interface designed to deliver the sonic performance of Audient’s large format console in a compact portable desktop solution.
The Audient ID14 uses the highly popular mic pres found in the 8024 consoles as well as Burr Brown Digital audio converters and monitoring control section. The two mic preamps have been designed by David Dearden for the 8024 consoles and have been optimised over the years delivering a clean and smooth tone associated with Audient’s mixing desks. A JFET DI input is also featured to let you plug-in your guitar or bass instrument instrument directly into the ID14 letting you record instantly.
Built with only the best componenents, the Audient ID14 is designed to provide superior performance for time to come. High performance AD/DA conversion is taken care by Burr Brown converters which have been leading the conversion technology for many years offering a true representation of your audio signal. Its robust construction made of an all-metal chassis, hand-finished aluminium knobs exhudes quality throughout.
The Desktop format allows the ID14 to stand right next to you and the console style monitor section gives you the most important features for your monitoring including DIM, Cut, Polarity reversal, Mono Sum, talkback and Cue Mix monitoring. Any of these functions can be assigned to the ID button. The main knob lets you control the overall monitoring level.
What’s more, the ID14 is expandable via its Optical input which supports S/PDIF or ADAT giving up to an additional 8 channels via a dedicated mic preamp.
