Set it and forget it
These speakers take some time to setup, but once you find a perfect spot for them, oh boy do they sound beautiful. The detail on these is fantastic! Coming from Genelec 8030C I hear things I never heard before. All the flaws and bad edits shine out, but the main thing is the detailed mid range. Compared to 8030's these they hold up great in more crowded mixes where as the 8030 get's a bit stuffy in the low mids. One 15 may at the beginning seem a bit bright at first, but it's juts the clear and fast transients these produce. Not experiencing ear fatigue at all with these, unlike with the sibilant Genelecs. I paired these speakers with Crown 800 XLi amp (AB). Works great, but probably would be even better with high end amps, but I'm getting good translation with mixes as it is. Once you dial everything right with these amphions, they just work. I use Sennheiser HD 600 as refrence headphones. Treat your room and find the perfect positioning for these monitors and your'e golden. Next step from these is probably the 10k € range (ATC, PMC, PSI). KMR support was really helpful and responded fast even when they were attending at NAMM. Surely will order from them again!
