Ultra-Low Distortion SEAS Subwoofers

At the heart of the Arcturus are two 26cm SEAS Extreme Series subwoofers, powered by a split-gap twin-ring radial neodymium motor. This innovative design provides exceptionally low distortion, ultra-linear performance, and unmatched output symmetry—hallmarks of Ex Machina’s highest engineering standards.

Metamodal Coaxial Midrange and Tweeter

The coaxial midrange/tweeter assembly features Composite Sound Metamodal TeXtreme diaphragms—ultralight carbon-fiber materials with optimized fiber geometries to suppress unwanted resonances. The carefully engineered waveguide, underhung surround, and aligned acoustic center ensure a controlled off-axis response with exceptional phase coherence and minimal distortion.

The enclosure is built from dense, damped Valchromat, avoiding the phase shift and turbulence issues of ported designs. The 38mm laminated front baffle offers superior rigidity, allowing the dual subwoofers to operate with minimal cabinet resonance.
