The innovative axisymmetric “sub–coax–sub” design ensures a coherent hemispherical wavefront, delivering consistent frequency response and phase accuracy across a wide 90×90 degree conical dispersion. Whether nearfield or farfield, the Quasar mkII maintains exceptional clarity at any position.

Dual SEAS Extreme Series Subwoofers

Equipped with two custom SEAS Extreme Series subwoofers, the Quasar mkII produces precise, extended low frequencies with ultra-low distortion. These long-stroke drivers feature rigid aluminium diaphragms, delivering tight, musical bass that enhances the monitor's full-range capabilities.

Metamodal Coaxial Mid/Tweeter for Total Clarity

The coaxial midrange/tweeter assembly features Composite Sound Metamodal TeXtreme diaphragms—lightweight yet ultra-rigid carbon fiber composites designed to suppress resonances. With a mathematically optimized waveguide, underhung surround, and point-source acoustic center, the result is pinpoint imaging and exceptional off-axis consistency.
