The Wolff Audio ProPatch 32R is a compact, software-controlled analogue patchbay with 16 inputs and 16 outputs, featuring precision relay-based switching and a completely passive signal path. It is designed for professional studios that require transparent signal routing, flexible control, and space-efficient installation.
Pure Analogue Signal Path with Relay Switching
The ProPatch 32R uses the same high-quality relay switching architecture found in larger Wolff Audio systems. There are no buffers, amplifiers, or active components in the audio path. Signals pass through untouched, with no added noise, distortion, impedance changes, or tonal coloration.
It fully supports microphone level, line level, control voltage, MIDI, and 48V phantom power, making it suitable for recording studios, mixing environments, mastering rooms, and mobile production rigs.
Software-Controlled Routing for Modern Studios
Routing is managed through a dedicated desktop application for macOS and Windows. Engineers can create and modify signal paths in real time using drag and drop control, store and recall presets instantly, perform A and B comparisons, and manage complete session configurations.
Integrated MIDI support allows external controllers and DAWs to automate routing changes, enabling patch configurations to stay synchronized with session workflows.
Front Panel Patch Points and Flexible Connectivity
The ProPatch 32R provides 32 TT patch points on the front panel, combined with rear panel XLR and TRS connections for clean integration into compact studio racks. It remains fully compatible with existing TT patchbay standards, allowing easy adoption into professional studio environments.
This design reduces cable clutter while maintaining fast manual access to all connected equipment.
Future-Ready Digital Expansion
Optional 16 by 16 Dante and USB digital I O expansion cards will be available, allowing the ProPatch 32R to integrate directly into hybrid analogue and digital studio systems. These upgrades extend routing capabilities while preserving the unit’s passive analogue signal integrity.
