Any combination of Air Montserrat Pres (optimal for ambient recording) and 1081s (perfect for close mic’d vocals and acoustic instruments) allows engineers to tailor systems for any genre from classical to rock. The 1081R is controllable from a Neve console or standalone PC. Gain, phase and 20dB pad settings can be adjusted from the rack or via the interface screen, and stored for recall.
