The PSI Audio A326 D-REX is a high accuracy bass extension system designed to deliver exceptionally deep, controlled and neutral low frequency reproduction. Built to complement reference monitors such as the A226-MAIN, the D-REX extends the monitoring range down to 20 Hz while maintaining the same phase coherence, linearity and sonic precision that define PSI Audio’s analogue monitoring philosophy. With its advanced low frequency performance, the A326 D-REX allows engineers to hear the lowest octaves with complete confidence, revealing detail, texture and accuracy that traditional subwoofers cannot deliver.
Handcrafted in Switzerland, each unit is individually calibrated in an anechoic chamber and supplied with its own measurement certificate. The system uses a fully analogue signal path with no DSP, ensuring absolute purity, preserving transient response and guaranteeing seamless integration with PSI Audio’s main monitors. Three symmetrically mounted 10 inch woofers, powered by 250 W + 250 W + 250 W Class G/H amplification, generate clean and controlled bass with outstanding dynamic performance. The A326 D-REX delivers a frequency response from 20 Hz to 100 Hz (or up to 160 Hz with the optional LFE module) and can reach peak levels up to 126 dB in a fully paired system.
The double reinforced asymmetrical MDF cabinet with a bass reflex design minimises resonances and provides maximum stability, ensuring tight articulation across the entire low frequency range. Designed for listening distances of 2 to 5.5 metres, the D-REX matches the scale and power of large format monitoring systems and preserves full phase accuracy across the extended bandwidth.
