Barefoot Sound Footprint03 Center Pair + FREE MEME Kit
The Barefoot Sound Footprint03 Center is a compact, tri-amplified 3-way active studio monitor designed for exceptional accuracy, clarity and translation. Originally developed as the perfect center-channel partner for the Footprint03, the Footprint03C also performs exceptionally as a stereo pair, delivering detailed imaging, a wide soundstage and the phase-coherent response Barefoot Sound is known for.
This special bundle includes a pair of Footprint03 Center monitors plus a FREE MEME Kit.
Each Footprint03C combines dual forward-facing 6.5" aluminium woofers, a 3.5" aluminium midrange driver and a 1" ring radiator tweeter. Dedicated Class D amplification provides 260 watts per monitor, with separate 100 W amplifiers for the woofer and midrange sections and 60 W for the tweeter.
With a frequency response extending from 42 Hz to 40 kHz and a continuous maximum SPL of 104.5 dB, the Footprint03C delivers impressive low-frequency extension and output from its compact sealed enclosure. The sealed-box construction also makes it particularly well suited to smaller studios, immersive mixing environments and installations where space is limited.
Barefoot SPOC Technology
The Footprint03C features Barefoot Sound's patented SPOC™ (Spectrally Optimized Conversion) technology. An analogue crossover stage is positioned before analogue-to-digital conversion, allowing high frequencies to reach the converter without attenuation. According to Barefoot, this provides the equivalent of a 15 dB improvement in signal-to-noise ratio, helping maintain exceptional transparency and resolution.
Integrated DSP
Barefoot's DSP system optimises driver levels and low-frequency performance while reducing distortion and maintaining sonic accuracy. The DSP operates with only 3 ms latency, making the Footprint03C equally suitable for professional recording, mixing and production environments.
MEME™ Monitor Emulation
Barefoot Sound's Multi-Emphasis Monitor Emulation™ (MEME) technology gives the Footprint03C several different monitoring perspectives from a single speaker system. MEME provides emulations inspired by classic mix-cube monitors, familiar white-coned studio monitors and consumer hi-fi speakers, allowing engineers to quickly check how a mix translates across different playback systems.
With the FREE MEME Kit included in this bundle, switching between these monitoring references becomes an integral part of the Footprint03C workflow.
Perfect for Stereo and Immersive Monitoring
Although designed to integrate seamlessly with Footprint03 monitors in surround and immersive systems, the Footprint03C is equally at home as a stereo monitor. Used as a left/right pair, it provides the clarity, depth, low-end accuracy and precise imaging required for professional mixing, mastering, music production and high-fidelity playback in compact spaces.
