The Beyerdynamic DT700 Pro X is a pair of circumaural closed-back studio headphones designed for recording and monitoring with a brand new Stellar.45 driver to deliver a detailed, powerful and vibrant sound with vanishingly low distortion.
The Beyerdynamic DT700 Pro X is capable of reproducing highly detailed audio thanks to the new STELLAR.45 driver, developed in Heilbronn, Germany. It uses a neodymium ring magnet coupled with copper-clad high tech wire and a brand new three-layer speaker diaphragm with an integrated damping layer. This new design unleashed a highly efficient driver system capable of stunning performance regardless of playback devices.
The newly developed membrane structure offers superior control of the axial motion of the voice coil, ensuring consistent positioning within the magnet gap. It translates into natural frequency response with a large sound stage. Furthermore, the low coil weight provides a fast transient response for a sound free from distortion even at high SPL.
Like the DT 770 previously, the DT700 Pro X offers super comfort with a robust spring steel headband that ensures a secure fit on the head as well as increased durability. The Velour earpads are extremely soft and deliver great ventilation. The headband also includes soft memory foam ensuring it adapts ergonomically to the shape of the head. The memory foam and ear pads can be replaced as and when it becomes necessary.
