Introducing the R-121-25thDR-MP, the matched pair version of the R-121 25th Anniversary Limited Edition Distressed Rose microphone. This unique and limited edition R-121 model celebrates the legacy of the classic R-121 with a stunning "Distressed Rose" finish that offers a variety of looks depending on the lighting. The finish ranges from a dark bourbon color in lower studio lighting to a rich rose color in brighter light. Only 500 R-121 Distressed Roses will be made, making it a highly sought-after collector's item.

The R-121 was first released in 1998 and was the first modern ribbon microphone to offer a radically different design. It created a resurgence in ribbon microphone popularity that is still growing strong today. The R-121 is a versatile microphone and is a staple for recording electric guitars, brass, drum rooms, kick drums, piano, snare drum, acoustic guitar, violin, all percussion, harp, cello, and more. This microphone is perfect for recording instruments as naturally as possible.
