Cranborne Audio Brick Lane 500
The Cranborne Audio Brick Lane 500 is a 500 Series analogue PWM compressor built around Cranborne Audio's Modal PWM Compression architecture. Six operating modes, VELVET, FLOAT, SMASH, TAME, GLUE and POLISH, provide different compression behaviour, envelope response and harmonic character for tracking, mixing and mastering.
Its Stress control adds mode-dependent harmonic saturation, while variable Threshold, Attack and Release controls provide further dynamics shaping. POLISH mode incorporates Cranborne Audio's Analogue Lookahead technology for extremely fast limiting.
For stereo processing, OPTOSYNC links two Brick Lane 500 modules and synchronises their controls optically without internal cabling. A 1/8-inch TRS connection is also provided for linking non-adjacent modules. Automatic calibration supports precise matching between units.
