The EVE Audio EXO 27 is an active 2-way studio monitor and the powerful all-rounder of the EXO Series. Designed for demanding producers, audio engineers and professional control rooms, the EXO 27 combines powerful output, uncompromisingly linear sound and rock-solid reliability.
At the heart of the EXO 27 is EVE Audio’s Precision AirMotion Tweeter, combined with Guided Directivity Control waveguide technology. This design provides controlled, wide dispersion, an ultra-wide sweet spot, precise stereo imaging and stable localization across the entire frequency range. The ultra-lightweight polyamide AMT delivers rapid transient response, high efficiency and accurate high-frequency reproduction with minimal distortion.
The larger 6.5 inch CAL woofer uses a coated aluminium diaphragm with a resonance-damped dust cap and optimized magnet system. It delivers deep, punchy bass while maintaining clarity in the mids, supporting precise and dynamic playback with minimal distortion.
The EXO 27 is built around an airflow-optimized Low Diffraction Enclosure. Its specially shaped curved design and smooth, rounded edges minimize unwanted reflections and reduce sound diffraction for a cleaner and more accurate listening experience. Enhanced rear-facing bass reflex ports with optimized aerodynamics support deeper low-end extension while minimizing port noise.
For modern studio workflows, the EXO 27 offers EVE Origin software control, allowing real-time room adaptation and system adjustment from the listening position. Filters, EQ, delay and individual monitor fine-tuning can be used to optimize the sound of a multi-channel system. With its precise directivity, the EXO 27 is also suited for immersive formats such as Dolby Atmos and other multi-channel applications.
A rear-mounted OLED display and integrated SMART Control Knob provide direct access to essential system parameters including output level, room adaptation filters and input source selection. The integrated Ethernet connection enables software control, precise calibration and future-ready firmware updates. Wake-on-Signal, Wake-on-LAN and adjustable automatic standby mode support a smarter professional monitoring workflow.
The illuminated EVE Audio logo on the front panel functions as a multi-color status indicator, showing operating conditions such as overload protection, firmware updates and other system statuses. In normal operation, the logo glows warm white, and its brightness can be continuously adjusted from 0% to 100%.
For flexible installation, the EXO 27 includes four M6 threaded mounting points on the bottom of the enclosure with a 50.8 x 107.9 mm mounting hole pattern, compatible with K&M 24352 and K&M 24354.
